Adams Friendship School District
The Adams-Friendship Area School District educates approximately 1500 students living across 500 square miles within Adams County. The district consists of one elementary school (grades PK-5), one middle school (grades 6-8), and one high school (grades 9-12). The district prides itself on a comprehensive and diverse curriculum and strong co-curricular programs in athletics, academics, and the fine arts. The district is proud of a newly constructed, state-of the-art Fine Arts Center along with well-maintained, safe, and energy-efficient buildings. Students and families are served by a caring and dedicated staff that focuses on the needs of the whole child as we live our mission of "preparing students to perform for life".
Mid-State Technical College
Mid-State is a publicly supported regional two-year college within the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) that strives for excellence while maintaining an agile organization that can quickly respond to the ever-changing needs of our residents and local business and industry. With campuses in Adams, Marshfield, Stevens Point, and Wisconsin Rapids, the college serves a resident population of approximately 165,000. Mid-State’s Campus in the City of Adams employs about 20 part time instructors and offers associate degrees, technical diplomas, certificates, and non-credit classes.
University of Wisconsin System
The UW System has several campuses that are near Adams County including Madison, La Crosse, Oshkosh, Stevens Point, and Baraboo/Sauk County.
